Thanks, Russ. The problem is that the in-tank filter is attached to the bottom of the fuel pump. It protects the intake screen on the bottom of the fuel pump and has a plastic intake that is about 2 inches long. Without the Polaris filter, I would lose the bottom 2-3 inches of the tank.
